We review every route-error report. Email us and we'll get back to you, typically within one business day.
PermitNav reconstructs your route directly from the roads your permit names, then verifies each segment against the permit. Where a segment can't be confirmed, it's flagged so you can check it. Routing is an aid only — the official permit always governs, and you should field-verify clearances before every move.
New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Texas, Maryland, Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma and Illinois permits are supported today. If your state isn't yet, send us its permits on our Next states page and see how close it is, or email us — we add states based on driver demand.
Stop and confirm against your official permit and the issuing agency before proceeding. Report it in-app or email [email protected] — we review every credible report and act on it.
Plans renew automatically until you cancel, and how you cancel depends on where you bought yours.
In the app: billed monthly through the App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel in your store's subscription settings (iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions). Turning off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next charge.
On permitnav.us: billed monthly or yearly. Cancel any time on your account page (a fleet cancels on its fleet page), and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. The Terms have the details.
Delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account) or on our account deletion page. That deletes your account and its data, except the permit documents you uploaded, which are kept unlinked from any account — see our Privacy Policy.
No. PermitNav is a convenience aid. You must carry the official permit, follow it exactly, and present it on request. Where PermitNav and the official permit differ, the official permit controls. See our Safety Disclaimer.
Car navigation is free. Truck routing and permit reads come with a plan, monthly in the app or monthly or yearly here on the web, and a permit credit reads one permit. Fleets get a seat for each driver. See Pricing.
No. PermitNav is an independent app, operated by Pythn Development. It doesn't represent any government agency and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by one. Oversize/overweight permits are issued only by the states; everything PermitNav shows about yours is read from the official permit you upload.
